What to prepare offline
- The Georgia Raw article URL, headline, or topic, if one exists.
- A short explanation of the public-interest issue or requested action.
- The exact sentence, image, date, or detail at issue.
- Links to primary sources or a list of supporting documents you control.
- Any safety, privacy, deadline, or confidentiality concern the newsroom should understand.
- A safe way for the newsroom to follow up once secure intake becomes available.
How secure intake will work
Step 1
Select a request type
The intake will explain what information is necessary and keep editorial, privacy, and business routes separate.
Step 2
Review before sending
A clear summary will let the sender remove unnecessary personal data before transmission.
Step 3
Receive a reference
Correction and removal workflows will issue a non-sequential request reference without exposing private details.
Step 4
Route to an authorized reviewer
Access, status changes, decisions, and material actions will be restricted and recorded in the audit log.
